The Affiliate Window ‘Curiosity Club’ Black Tie event on Thursday 11th of September was Tom Holland and my first public event flying the flag for our new business, Acquire.
The event was superb – bringing together over 400 people from the performance marketing industry including publishers, advertisers and technology companies to The Brewery in East London, it was an amazing evening of 1920’s inspired theatrics and networking with dinner, acrobatics and of course, vodka ice sculptures.
The event was exquisitely planned with surprises around every corner. For Tom and I, it was a chance to operate under our own banner for the first time at an industry event. Thanks to everyone who approached us with a warm welcome and good wishes, it was great.
Being only three weeks into launching Acquire, we’re still focusing on the early days of hand picking our first line up of clients – more information on this shortly.
As we start getting projects underway, Tom and I will be starting the process of running our Quarterly ‘Acquired Breakfast Seminars’ – these events will be held in The Library of Shoreditch House where we will bring guests from the publisher, technology, network and advertiser space to join us for a delicious breakfast spread and spend the morning interpreting the last three months in the performance space, sharing learnings, and making predictions for the next three months to come. More on this in the next few months.
For now, we’ve got our launch party coming up – if you’ve not received an invitation yet and think you’re due one, contact myself or Tom Holland directly.
Ciao for now!
