Acquire Progress Report & Mission Statement

It’s been a little over 5 weeks since I left everything I’ve known at GDM to pursue the construction of a new initiative with good friend and respected industry peer, Tom Holland.

Tom and I felt that there was a gap in the performance marketing management space whereby we could do things a little differently.

As performance marketing, and indeed Digital continue to bloom and their capabilities become increasingly more sophisticated, there’s a real danger for brands to find themselves left behind and ‘stale’. We don’t want to do what everyone else is doing, ‘enough’ is not enough for us. We want to be connecting the unconnected and doing things that make clever use of the amazing platform that digital provides us to do things that haven’t been done before.

Acquire represents the vessel through which we will synthesise all that potential into actionable, performance based strategies, placing critical importance on proactive, nimble innovation and insightful education for all involved.

For those interested, here is our mission statement:

Less is more. Fewer clients but a more focused, ‘boutique’ service. Fewer staff but hand picked experts and stronger, more personal relationships. We bring to market not an agency, but an Initiative. A collective of highly skilled partners who aim to bridge technological gaps, connect the unconnected and educate participants to raise performance marketing to new heights of sophistication with transparency, honesty and integrity.

As we get nearer to our launch date of September 1st 2014, we are working hard on internal processes and methods for achieving everything we want to for our clients, marketing collateral and our website – which should be live within the next few weeks. I’ll write another progress report around mid August with updates of launch, parties and clients.

Thanks for taking the time to read
